Here is the same arithmetic with sample numbers. If those twenty jobs average 95 minutes and the day holds 8 billable hours, then 480 divided by 95 is about 5 jobs.

Hold 60 minutes for drive time and setup and the day supports four booked jobs, with the fifth slot kept as float. At 75 minutes per job, 480 divided by 75 is six jobs, or five with the same buffer.

Build the day the same way you book it: a 95-minute inspection block at 8:00, a 25-minute drive and setup block, then the next inspection at 10:00. The buffer is a named block on the calendar, not slack the next job eats.

Two variables move that number more than any other. Spring volume, when agents push closings into a narrow window. And tool time, when moisture or thermal work adds minutes per job that a visual-only inspection never carries.
